If swimming and fishing isn't for you, you can always test one of Tathra's many bush tracks -- perfect for hiking or bike riding. There's plenty of activities for the kids in Tathra and nearby towns -- they can try their luck with mini golf, archery, surfing lessons or of course catching a wave or two and building sandcastles!
Within easy walking distance to the local cafes, clubs or restaurants to enjoy a lovely meal or you can always take a drive to the nearby towns and enjoy the wide variety of restaurants they have to offer as well!
